Back to South

Prior to 1830
On South street the Haines house stood near South River street.

Near the intersection on Green Lane (Franklin street) was the blacksmith shop of Peter, youngest son of Abel Yarington. He acted as an agent for Matthias Hollenbach in trading with the Indians, and died 26 Novermber, 1826, aged 56.

Somewhat to the east of him lived Daniel White.

There were no other buildings on South street. (Old Map)
